 About Bam 

Bam Johnson is a writer and director from Denver, Colorado. After obtaining his Bachelor's degree in Journalism with a minor in Political Science, Bam attended the Columbia University Graduate Film Program where he earned his Master of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in directing.  During his time in the program, he was awarded the Jesse Thompkins III Screenwriting Award and the Indian Paintbrush Fund Production Grant.

The last film Bam directed, Dry Kleaners, was awarded the Laugh Out Loud Filmmaker Fellowship in partnership with Kevin Hart, LOL Network, and the American Black Film Festival.

Recently, after working as a staff writer on Robert and Michelle King's The Bite,  Bam served as story editor for the upcoming Paramount + show, HAPPY FACE.
